Scottish Roadworks Commissioner John Gooday gave an interesting presentation on the roles, functions and responsibilities of the Office of the Scottish Roadworks Commissioner, covering the following points;

  • £ 80 FPN discount fine for payments made within 29 days
  • Potential for FPN offences noted at over 149,000 in 12 months which could equate to 149000 x £120 in yearly fines.
  • authorities do not issue FPN against themselves.
